Meet the designer

Behind the design

At one point in my life, I was addicted and homeless on the streets of New Orleans. By the grace of God, I came out the other side and started building.

Rise LA exists because I believe what you wear can carry the weight of where you've been and the intention of where you're going.

Every piece I make is reworked or elevated — raised from what it was into something new. And that's what I want for each person who wears it.

I source original U.S. military-issued garments, some dating back to the 1950s, and rework them by hand. I create everyday, elevated staples for Louisiana heat, built to outlast the season. A portion of every sale goes to organizations serving people experiencing homelessness and survivors of trafficking in Louisiana — the same communities I came from.

Rise LA is my way of building something real, and bringing people with me.

WHO WE ARE

ABOUT RISE LA

You've never seen louisiana like this.

I started Rise LA on a simple belief: what you wear should mean something.

Rooted in Louisiana and shaped by its history, I blend elevated streetwear with deep respect for people, place, and purpose. From everyday tees to one-of-one heritage garments, every piece is designed with intention and built to last.

Luxury, to me, isn’t excess. It’s meaning.

MY POINT OF VIEW

Rise LA is built at the intersection of culture, history, and everyday life.

I create elevated staples designed to be worn — alongside one-of-one pieces crafted from vintage U.S. military-issued garments. The materials and expressions differ, but the intention behind every piece is the same: thoughtful design that honors where I come from while elevating how I live now.

This isn't fast fashion. It's considered streetwear, built with care.

It’s considered streetwear, but built with care.

Honoring history

Some Rise LA pieces are crafted from original U.S. military-issued garments dating back to the 1950s.

These garments were worn by people who served and sacrificed, and I treat their history with respect throughout the design process. Each one-of-one piece is thoughtfully reworked to preserve its story while giving it new life.

This is not replication. It's reverence.

ELEVATING THE EVERYDAY

Alongside my heritage garments, I design elevated staples meant for daily wear.

My tees and essentials get the same attention to detail — premium materials, considered fit, a focus on longevity. These are pieces made to move with you, live with you, and hold up over time.

Because everyday wear should still feel intentional.

Giving back is part of our foundation — not an afterthought.

A portion of Rise LA profit supports organizations serving the homeless, trafficking survivors, and vulnerable populations in my community. I believe the things I build should help others rise too.

What you wear can stand for something.
